Christmas Reserve Limited Edtion
Uganda Engeya - Coming in November
Engeya is named after the blue monkey that is unique to the Rwenzori region of Western Uganda.
A beautifully balanced Ugandan Arabica with a bright, fruity character and a smooth, rounded body. Grown in the high-altitude Rwenzori region of Western Uganda, this fully washed coffee delivers a clean and expressive cup with layers of dried fruit, gentle acidity, and rich cacao sweetness.
The combination of altitude, fertile soils, and careful processing gives Engeya a distinctive East African character without becoming overly sharp or acidic. It has a satisfying body and a well-rounded finish, making it equally enjoyable as a filter coffee or when brewed as espresso.
The coffee is produced by smallholder farmers working with UGACOF/Sucafina Uganda, with carefully selected ripe cherries fully washed, fermented, and dried on raised beds to preserve consistency and quality.
Tasting notes: Dried fruit, cacao, gentle citrus acidity, brown sugar sweetness, and a smooth, balanced finish.
