The Early Days
After working with a leading coffee producer in London, Martin founded Tropic with a focus on quality roasting and fresh, specialty coffee. He set up a small-batch roastery in one of our existing units, laying the foundation for what has grown into a dedicated coffee business. Here is a photo from our early days, capturing the installation of our coffee roaster—an important step in our commitment to sourcing, roasting, and delivering exceptional coffee.

Our passion for coffee begins at origin. We carefully source beans from some of the world’s finest coffee-growing regions, selecting only those that meet our high standards for flavour, character and traceability. These coffees are then expertly roasted at our Norfolk roastery, where traditional craftsmanship meets decades of experience to create balanced, distinctive coffees enjoyed by customers across the UK.
